Arrived home in Lakefield around 4 PM on Thursday, April 4/13 after lunch with Gramma and Grampa Marsden in Toronto, morning tea with Ellie and Jan Lech in St. Catherines and breakfast at the Fallsview Marriott Hotel Concierge Lounge in Niagara Falls. The car was ready to explore with all the stuff we were travelling with plus we stopped for some groceries in Peterborough at Costco.
All was well at the Lakefield house, internet was on, water got turned on the next morning and then Bell telephone and Satellite TV the next day.

Backtracking to when we left the timeshare in South Carolina on Friday, March 29th we drove 9 hours to Tom and Diana's house in Chesapeake Virginia to spend Easter with them.
Saturday morning we went to a big park in Chesapeake and participated in an Easter Egg Hunt and other activities sponsored by the City of Chesapeake. It was a beautiful sunny warm day and lots of kiddies were up for the action. I assisted Jacob get 6 eggs - no hunting involved - just had to pick them up off the grass. All the eggs were picked up in about 1 minute so you had to be fast to get
any. These festivities were followed by a big hamburger lunch at Five Guys Burgers and Fries and we got to sit outside on their patio to enjoy the sunshine. Oma and Opa babysat to let Diana and Tom enjoy a dinner out at Ruth Chris' Steakhouse. The kiddies survived.
We had a quiet Easter Sunday with taking the kiddies to church and an Easter chicken dinner. Tom had Monday off work and put Opa to work on a back fence gate and constructing a garden shed which just got erected before we left on Wednesday.
Jacob got lots of time outside and Oma got her exercise that way too by pushing Jacob in his two red cars and his little bike. We look forward to seeing them again this summer when they visit us in Canada. Hannah was almost walking, just getting confidence in standing alone.
So we took off for Niagara Falls at 5:30 AM on Wednesday morning. It was a long 11 hour drive passing through 5 states progressively getting colder and a few snow flakes sailed through the air and once into Pennsylvania we saw snow at the top of the hills and skiers on the slopes in Ellicotville New York.
We spend the night at the Fallsview Marriott Hotel  in downtown Niagara Falls Canada on a hotel deal from TravelZoo with a room upgrade from Tom's Marriott platinum status which gave us the Presidential Suite on the 10th floor directly overlooking Niagara Falls. Katie and boyfriend Dave drove from Hamilton to join us for dinner at Milestones Bar and Grill onsite in our hotel. Home to Lakefield the next day.
Winter 2012 - 2013 trip done - C'mon Spring!
